Partly. It runs on your AI and adds the work around the chat: transcripts, voice profiles, drafts, clips and a library.
A Windows or Linux computer and your own AI: an OpenRouter key, your ChatGPT plan or your Claude Code.
Files you drop in stay put. EchoOS doesn't copy them. Videos from a link save to its own folder. Transcription runs on your computer, or on OpenAI if you pick it, which then gets the audio. Your chats, drafts and the transcripts you use go to your AI.
